Richard, Why do you refer to males on their “spiritual” journey. Women also search, perhaps more so! Are you coming to Ireland or the UK within the next year or so?
As Richard admits at the beginning of his excellent work “Adam’s Return” he is not a female so cannot comment. I think Jeung’s introspection plays a part as do the founder of “Communion and Liberation” (Fr Luigi Guissani’s) observations that “we can only learn from experience.”
As a young father there is a respectful distance that is required between me and my Son I if I am to teach him to be a man. There is also a respectful distance required between my wife and my adopted daughter if Maureen is to teach our teenager to be a woman.
Teaching, like learning, can only be done from experience.
